I have been lately, but probably more with others who say they are leaders and/or say they are Christians. Been there with me before?
Very few people are motivated beyond themselves…tough stuff to digest and see played out at times.

This has been a very tough road for us…but we know God is fully in control. But sometimes knowing something and resting in it are two different things.

Great post. I've been there, too many times to count. And you know what sucks, God comes through in His time (not right now!), His way (sometimes not MY way), for His purpose…. with little recognition and credit. We all do it. We want, want, want as if we are entitled. I know MY want lists have been pretty steep compared to what God wants from us in return. And I actually have had attitude and nasty conversations with God about these things. I'm thankful God still loves me for all the more I love I give Him in return.Your post was a nice wake up for me and my mentality. I say I'm a Christian, and probably will spend the rest of my life trying to get it right.
