it’s stuff like this that keeps us going.

Despite the fair share of gripes, nit-picking, and sometimes just plain nasty e-mails, comments, letters (always anonymous in the name of Jesus of course :) , it is so refreshing to get a bunch of e-mails like this. I could share a hundred and I thank you all for sending them. This is the latest one we got and it wrecked me.

So…Who can YOU encourage today with a quick word? It might just change their life!

Charles: Just wanted to share my thoughts on your decision to be obedient to God’s calling…

After a few weeks of processing thoughts & emotions (u wrecked me this weekend dude. Cried every service) I’ve realized some pretty amazing things. Hope this helps give you some comfort and peace in this difficult time of transition for you & your family.

I am the man I am today because about 7 years ago you were obedient to God’s calling in your life. Came to a small town that most said wouldn’t, couldn’t support another church. But, that’s just like our God; to call us to something that we, with our little human brains can fathom or won’t believe is even possible.

I stand before the world today as one of many objects of proof in this small town, that our God isn’t limited by our imaginations, but only by our level of obedience.

I’m so excited, not just for you & your family, but even more for the people of the town where God is beginning to stir hearts & prepare them for His life altering gift of mercy & grace!!

For one day in the near future another man’s life in another small town will be radically changed by the Holy Spirit just as mine was. And that is what it is all about!!

Well done my good & faithful servant… well done!!

We serve an awesome God dude!! Go forth & rock the kingdom for the King of kings.

Grace & peace,

Your Brother in Christ

p.s. you suppose every day is a powder day in heaven? :)

[your only clue is that this brother is an AMAZING skier and has spoken volumes into my life while on the slopes] and yes bro…I am sure everyday is a powder day and you won’t need a lift to get to the top.
