No really. I don’t deserve all I have been given.
My Salvation
My Wife
My Kids
My Family (all of you! those I claim, and those I don’t:)
My Church
My Staff
My Friends
My House
Food, clothes and clean water
My Way more than enough “stuff”
My Golf Clubs, and coming soon…MY SKI’S
And most of all: MY GOD!
I don’t deserve any of this.
1 Corinthians 9.14-15–”And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”
What say ye? Leave yo praise…

I am so very thankful for my wife Debi. Almost 2 years ago now, we found out she has a very rare, aggressive and hard to treat cancer called stage 4 Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma. It had spread to her lymph nodes, vocal cords, soft tissue in her neck, liver and one lung. It has been an honor and a privilege to be chosen to walk through this with her. Its hard to describe how she has taught me so much about the power of Pure Simple Faith. I have watched her endure agonizing procedures and treatments, long dangerous surgerys. And she dose it all with a smile and remarkable confidence. I asked her one day before one of her surgeries just how she was able to withstand all she was going through with such a great attitude. I’ll never forget her responce. She wrote on a peice of paper, because she had no voice at the time. ” I will either wake up from this surgery with Jesus or with you” and then she shrugged her shoulders and gave me a look and the look said. Just what part of this dont you get? You see I always manage to complicate things. I seem to need extensive and graphic explinations of why, how and when, specific details a map and a clear charted course. She simply relys on Faith. What a an amazing example of how to just simply close your eyes and fall into God’s hands she has been to me.As time has past its easy to look back and see how God’s hand has been on her all along. She has gotten rid of her trache, down from 21 prescriptions to 4. She can enjoy a meal with her family now she dosnt have to eat and take her meds through a feeding tube. She dosnt have to use a hospital bed and has gotten rid of all the machines she depended on. She is able to sleep more than an hour a day now and Praise God he has seen fit to allow her to have most of her voice back.We are both so very thankful for the people at New Hope Community Church. So many people have prayed for Debi and are still praying. And they have been felt and realized. We have received so much support from the staff and people that attend here it just blows us away. Thank you all for the cards the help the meals and most of all your prayers. We never really understood what support meens until we needed it and received it and usually without asking. Your support has been pricless.Where there is faith there is hope.Debi proves that.Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!
that is what faith is all about. love you both!
