Is over. I am tired. It was amazing. the place is overflowing with pastors, leaders and front line kingdom workers. Simply amazing.
What an amazing group of people who came here to learn from each other. This is one SHARP groups of leaders that have assembled in the middle of nowhere. I am honored to be a part of this community.
So much to say…but I need to go to bed.
1 story (of many) that will sum up the day: A pastor in his 60′s was ready to quit. Somehow he ended up at the sticks conference. God spoke to Him…He is not quitting. With tears in his eyes he thanked my from the depths of his soul.
This is why we do what we do. Plain and simple.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AT NEW HOPE WHO GAVE OF YOUR TIME AND TALENTS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! And to our amazing staff, volunteers and great people at New Hope who ALWAYS go the extra mile. Can’t hear enough about how gracious you have been.
And thanks to all of you who made the journey to be with us. I learned so much today. People kept thanking me and our team. I say, no…THANK YOU!
The highlight of the day for me was hanging with all of you, learning from you, hearing your passion and watching the passion flow during the communion celebration today. Wow. God’s Spirit was thick.
See ya in 10-1/2 hours. The best is yet to come.
