Started this a week or so ago…just found it in my drafts and thought I would throw it out to you…

I love it when the wind of God blows. If you missed last weekend, you missed the “wind of God” sweeping through New Hope in a unique way. Not that God doesn’t show up around here, but it was unique. We cancelled the entire service 1 hour and 45 minutes before our Saturday Night service and did something completely different. People went out with more comments of how powerful the service was than has been heard in a long time. People told me how thankful we were to be obedient to God.
I have sensed a fresh wind the past few weeks @ New Hope…have you?

Sometimes we need God to stop our plans so that HIS plans can prevail. But that is so hard to do…at least for me. When the wind of God blows into your life, saying no is not an option. Well, it is an option, but not a very good one. Are you ready?

One cool thing about the wind is that you can’t see it…but you look around and you know it is there. You see it’s impact. Though you can’t see HIM, you know He is there impacting the world around us…and the sobering thing is that we are the catalyst to unlock HIS power and the wind will blow as we are obedient in every area of our lives. Are you ready?

It is so amazing to be led by HIM…let the wind blow this week in your life.
